Cooling Castle Barn wedding photography with Josie and Dan
Cooling Castle Barn was the wedding venue for Josie and Dan’s big day in Kent. The guys wanted and extra photographer so Catherine my fellow Howling Basset photographer was drafted in for the day. Catherine used to second shoot for me awhile back and her work has come on so much she’s now one of my main photographers. Also at the wedding was my friend and fellow film fan, Paul Taberham one of Kent’s finest wedding videographers.
Josie and Dan had also employed the services of further video guys to shoot a Marryoke video. If you haven’t heard the term or seen one then do Google it and have look. If done well they’re brilliant fun and at only a few minutes easy on the eye for family and friends. The Marryoke team was made up of four, they are technically quite difficult and time consuming. So that makes seven photographers and videographers!
The bridal preparation room at Cooling Castle is lovely indeed but space was a little tight with seven of us so I left Catherine in there and I popped out to find the boys to photograph and any guests as they arrived. The barn where the wedding itself takes place at Cooling Castle is very large and that meant we all didn’t bump into each other and everybody got the shots they wanted. Outside on the huge lawned area of Cooling Castle there was no such problem and while I took the formal groups, Catherine was doing the more candid type shots.
A lovely, lovely day; great venue and great people too.
