Bridal preparation wedding photographs

NOTE. We've changed the service level offered for wedding photography. We will no longer automatically include the "getting ready" photos in the cost of the photography. It can add a lot of stress for the photographer, having to "race" to the ceremony ahead of the bride, in areas they're not familiar with and trying to park etc. The shots taken are not always great as the preparation venues are not always suitable for photography, small gardens, cluttered rooms etc etc.
This is now a discretionary part of the service and depends on a number of factors, distance to the ceremony, suitability of preparation venue etc .. please email us to find out if it will be included in the price or if there will be an additional cost.

BUT ... If the bride is getting ready at the ceremony venue itself then the "getting ready photos" will be included in the price.

Extra Back-up

All the wedding photographers have been issued with portable hard drives with card readers. This enables them to back-up the shots as they go and means that the wedding photographs will exist in two places instead of the one inside the camera. Can't be too careful?!!?

Stand-by Photographer added

As we're getting busier the chances of anything going wrong increase so we have decided on busy wedding days to employ another photographer as a stand-by. They will have all the details of all the weddings and should something go awry they can step in and save the day. It's an extra insurance policy for a day that really cannot be repeated!! I'm not sure what happens with wedding photographers who work alone?

Hello

So much is happening with Howling Basset Wedding Photography that we thought we'd start a blog. We're always thinking of new ways to improve and safeguard our wedding photography service and rather than amend the site everytime, thought a blog might be the best way.
