Compact Flash Cards

Horrified to find that I could no longer buy 1Gb CF cards from anywhere. 8GB are fine and dandy but lose one or it becomes corrupted (which is not a case of "if" more "when") then you've lost the entire day!! If you shoot 8x1Gb cards and one goes wrong or missing then you'll only lose 12% of the wedding. There are other backups going on too, but shooting on smaller cards just adds another tier to HB's backup procedures.

So manged to get a dozen new cards on eBay, should see me into a few more seasons.

Recommended Videographer

I've been asked many times if I can recommend a videographer and I've always answered no because, although I've worked alongside many over the years I've never actually seen any of their work.

I recently worked alongside Tyler at a wedding in Dartford and asked if he could send me a copy of the wedding video, which he's done and it's excellent ... so I can now recommend Tyler at Everexcellent for your wedding video needs.

Transparency

One of the things that Howling Basset stands for is transparent and honest pricing and level of service. We'll cover the whole day and give you all the images taken. You have copyright over your images so you can print, copy and share them. There is absolutely nothing to add to the price or service with Howling Basset.

If you take the time to get past the headline prices of other wedding photographers you'll see a whole host of extras. In addition to the price quoted there could be:

£200-£500 for the DVD with all high res images on. Photographers like to hang onto the copyright of your wedding pictures, so they can generate extra and further income from you.
We believe that your images belong to you!!

£20 for each reprint or an equally high price for what is a pence item.

Time limit on time the photos are displayed on the web site. These web images are usually there in order to sell prints onto your family and friends. With HB you can supply everybody with the files they need, to make their own prints and for pennies.

Extra cost for additional time.

Limit on number of shots taken and shown

etc ... etc ... etc
